Meet Danielle

Danielle Nachtigal, MS, CDN is an evidence-based nutritionist dedicated to helping individuals optimize health, prevent disease, and age vibrantly. Her career began in research at Yale University, where she spent nearly two decades studying ingestive behavior and the neuroscience of eating. Her work explored how sensory mechanisms—taste, flavor, and perception—shape food choices and eating behaviors, as well as the biological drivers of food addiction.

After 18 years in research, Danielle transitioned into clinical practice, earning her Master of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an Associate’s degree in Chemical Dependency Studies from Keene State College. This foundation in neuroscience, psychology, and nutrition allows her to approach health from a deeply integrated and unique perspective, blending biochemical insight with practical nutrition strategies.

Danielle is particularly passionate about supporting clients through life transitions such as menopause, and in managing and preventing chronic conditions including diabetes and osteoporosis. She is committed to educating and empowering her clients with science-driven strategies tailored to their individual needs. Known for her rigorous, evidence-based approach, Danielle continues to advance her expertise through ongoing education and specialized training in areas such as endocrine health, metabolic function, and nutrient-driven longevity.
